OLYMPIC SETTING

The main Olympic setting is the city of Buenos Aires and surrounding area which constitute an outstanding political, cultural and academic center in South America. Its typical european like buildings and parks show a modern city where the colonial heritage is highlighted as a symbol of its origin.

In the technical-sport aspect Buenos Airres offers an Olympic Corridor as a synthesis of an optimum and most compact ever sports venues setting of only 14.7 Kms. long and 2Kms. wide in the greenest part of the city.
This Olympic Corridor is at present a recreation and sports area, thus its use for the development of the Games of the XXVIII Olympiad will not interfere at all with the normal life of the city's residents.

This location will allow a quick and exclusive traffic aiming at the Games development and will also ensure an excellent security control around its perimeter without affecting the population.
